Kotsifali, Syrah Red-Alexakis Winery

Early in the 20th century, we planted our family-owned vineyards in Crete at an elevation of 400m with Kotsifali, our island's most tranditional red variety. In later years we introduced Syrah as well. Today, their blend ages for a year in French and American oak to create a unique modern red with notes of forest fruits, cinnamon and cloves.
